Ketamine + Psychotherapy

A Fast and Effective Treatment Option

What Is Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy?

Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) is a new approach to treatment that differs from traditional therapy. KAP is used to address a number of treatment-resistant conditions such as depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, OCD, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. The defining feature of KAP is the use of ketamine treatments to compliment and enhance the therapeutic session. By combining the powerful effects of ketamine with psychotherapy, our psychedelic-assisted therapists increase the overall effectiveness three-fold.

Individualized Patient Care

Our KAP sessions can either be done in our spa-like clinic or by video-guided experience in the comfort of your home. Each patient is evaluated by our psychiatry team prior to treatment, and matched with one of our leading psychedelic therapists. Ketamine treatments can induce dreamlike states which allow your psychotherapist to help you move past the barriers and various defense mechanisms that your psyche puts up in response to trauma or emotional stress. KAP sessions can lead to shifts in consciousness or a new sense of awareness, and at times, even profound spiritual connections.

MARRIAGE & FAMILY THERAPIST, LMHC

Yuleisy Cardoso

In 2007, she graduated with a bachelor’s in Psychology from Florida International University and shortly after began her own transformational path as she began her first semester at the University of Central Florida’s counseling education program. This is when she discovered her love and passion for mindfulness as a tool to help others heal as the tool rewires the brain and reboots the emotional body. Her passion and extensive research on the topic led to a published scientific contribution with the American Counseling Association’s Online Vista Journal titled ” Loving Kindness Meditation and Couples Therapy: Healing After an Infidelity”. Presently, Yuleisy contributes articles to magazines through the community on topics such as mental health and mindfulness. Yuleisy’s other passion, psychedelic medicine, surfaced in 2018 when her own healing took place with the powerful and magical medicine. She now dedicates herself to helping others heal with psychedelic medicine and dedicates herself to bringing knowledge of this beautiful medicine to anyone who seeks healing. As a therapist who is fully committed to helping our clients live a fuller and more peaceful life, she is grateful and humbled to be a part of her client’s healing journey.

He practices a collaborative approach founded on deep empathetic understanding, unconditional acceptance, and open discussion. Tyler has a specialization in Psychedelic Integration and the use of Non-Ordinary states of consciousness to create powerful insights and foundations for healing and transformation. Tyler’s education and experience as a leader in the Central Florida wellness community inspire his personal and professional identity as an integrative mental health therapist.
